During and post WWII in Eastern Europe, Co-Founder Yuliya Mamontova’s grandmother Anestasia, bartered for the essentials needed to survive by producing what is now a world renowned vodka.
Just as it was during the prohibition in America, in Socialist Ukraine, bootlegging was a punishable offense. In 1946, Anestasia was arrested, convicted and sent to prison for her rebellion.
After her release in 1947, without hesitation, this defiant entrepreneur continued to follow her passion - doing what she knew best - providing for her family by making the smoothest vodka possible.
Today, Yuliya wants to inspire women to follow their passion. To rebel against stereotypes and continue to push the limits. Just like grandmother Anestasia, she is a rebel in this historically male dominated vodka industry.
